Paul Teng was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1964. He received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his MS degree in Computer Science at Polytechnic University, and his JD degree at Fordham University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bars of the states of New York and New Jersey, U.S. Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit, U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, a member of the New York City Bar Association, and a member of the IEEE. Mr. Teng has routinely lectured engineers, scientists and other technical professionals, and law professionals and law students regarding patent law fundamentals and strategies for intellectual property protection. His practice primarily focuses on the areas of patent prosecution, enforcement and counseling, particularly in electrical and computer technologies.
